Livia Turco comes from a background of classical sculpture, her studies in Italy were concentrated on life drawing, sculpting from life and the anatomy of the human body, something she believes is vital knowledge for the figurative artist.

In the years working professionally she has practiced and perfected her anatomy knowledge and quickened her skills. As a freelance sculptor Livia has worked chiefly for Madame Tussaud’s as a portrait and figure sculptor. She has also worked in the film industry on 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' and for various visual artists.

Livia is currently tutor of figurative sculpture at University of the Arts, Wimbledon.

Teaching at Wimbledon has inspired Livia to offer private tuition where figurative sculpture can be studied and appreciated.
